WWW Working Group
The main objective of the Web Working Group is to provide Internet users with good quality, well presented current information on BCIT, and to do so in an efficient manner.
The Web Working Group is formed from two sub-committees: a Policies sub-committee and a Design and Guidelines sub-committee. The mandate of the former is to review and approve recommended policies and bring those policies to the Executive Committee for approval. The latter has the mandate to approve design and style guides and rule on what content constitutes official BCIT corporate information.

propose guidelines and suggestions for the presentation of material
review the architecture of BCIT's WWW site on a regular basis
make ongoing recommendations for enhancement and changes in the architecture
ensure that existing policies and procedures are known and observed
avoid unnecessary duplication of information and effort and, in particular, contradictory information
ensure accuracy and currency of information
recommend designation of responsibilities for various official information areas
identify and seek resources needed to improve BCIT's WWW pages
facilitate continuing cooperation and coordination among those responsible for WWW pages at BCIT
