Corporate Content

The BCIT corporate web site publishes all program information that is normally printed in the Full-time and Part-time calendar, and Part-time Studies Flyer. This includes all program outlines, prerequisites, course fees, program matrixes, and course descriptions. Changes to program curriculum must be approved by the Registrar's office. Once course information is approved, the web site is updated.

Your Content

If the purpose of your site is to attract students, you can provide further information about the individual program — information that is not published on the corporate site. Some ideas can be student testimonials, industry trends, industry projects, and salary expectations.
You cannot publish any program information from the calendar, instead you need to link to the appropriate program information on the corporate site. Be sure to let us know which pages link to the corporate site, so we can arrange for a link back to your department page.

Personal Pages

Personal page hosting is not permitted at BCIT servers

Page Titles
All of your web pages need to have a clear and descriptive title. The title is used by the search engine, and by the person that bookmarks your page. It is the title that is saved in the bookmark list.

BCIT Coat of Arms can not be used unless special permission has been granted from the institute.

The BCIT logo can only appear in black, white, blue, or blue with an orange ellipse.
